MAEV, a pioneering agency in tailor-made event planning, has inaugurated its new creative studio, a space designed to combine creativity, innovation, and production. This opening also marks the agency’s 15th anniversary, a significant milestone in its history.
A workshop dedicated to innovation
The new MAEV Workshop combines offices, storage spaces, production workshops, and manufacturing areas. This space reflects the agency’s vision: to merge creation and execution to offer unique and personalized experiences. “This workshop is much more than a workspace; it’s a place of expression where each project comes to life with passion and commitment,” says Safae El Hakym, founder and CEO of MAEV.
15 years of expertise
Since its creation in 2009, MAEV has established itself as a leading expert in the planning of weddings and private events. The agency has orchestrated several hundred prestigious weddings around the world, from Marrakech to Ibiza to New York. A pioneer of the bohemian chic style, MAEV has also made its mark on the world of electronic music festivals in Morocco and abroad, notably participating in events in Tulum and Burning Man.
In addition to weddings and festivals, the agency offers services dedicated to private and professional events, such as birthday parties, seminars, and conferences. Its clients include major companies such as PWC, BCG, JTI, St. Regis, and Sanofi.
A Sustainable Commitment
MAEV is also distinguished by its commitment to sustainability. In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the agency launched “La Karavane,” a sustainable travel concept for small groups. More recently, following the September 2023 earthquake in Morocco, MAEV mobilized more than 500 volunteers to provide logistical assistance and raise 752,000 dirhams for the affected villages through the ADE (Friends of Schools) association.

A graduate in management and marketing, Safae El Hakym founded MAEV in 2009. With a dual French-Moroccan background, she successfully blended the Moroccan art of living with international standards. Under her leadership, the agency redefined event trends and introduced bold styles like bohemian chic.
